Hi! So, I've not really touched this website for years. It's fallen into disrepair and it would be irresponsible of me to pretend I'll ever have time to work on it again.

So, I'm going to mothball the site/set it to read-only. I've disabled the login links because they stopped working any I don't remember enough about how the site works to figure out how to fix them.

If any thing *really* needs updating (deadnaming-level stuff), let me know and I'll go in on the backend and make changes.

Description

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…

STAR WARS THE OLD REPUBLIC: CHAINS OF THE SITH

It is a time of fragile peace between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Yet, there are many on both sides who conspire to see a return to outright war.

Now the Empire has invaded the Republic planet of Corellia and the Treaty of Coruscant hangs in tatters. Representatives of both the Empire and Republic must decide for themselves where matters stand.

As the conclave begins on Corellia, an ancient starship, emanating with the power of the Force, seems to be heading on a direct collision course with the planet…

Image zooms in over the industrial planet of Corellia, clouds of smoke pouring into the sky from the constant bombardment by the fleet of Imperial Battle Cruisers in orbit…

Wylde Deluzion presents a game of lightsabers, blasters and treaties gone awry.

3,000 years before the events of the Star Wars movies, the galaxy was a slightly different place. Many planets are part of the crumbling Galactic Republic, whilst others have allied themselves (or been conquered) by the aggressively ambitious Sith Empire. The Great Galactic War finally came to an end when by sacking the Republic capital world of Coruscant, the Empire coerced the Republic into signing a peace treaty. Since then, a state of cold war has been ongoing. Force-users are much more common during this time. The powerful Jedi Order works alongside the Galactic Republic to ensure stability and to fight back against their arch-rivals – the Sith, powered by the Dark Side of the Force, and rulers of their Empire.

In this game, open war seems to be on the horizon, but does the Force have something more important in mind? Players can be Jedi Knights, Sith Lords, Imperial officers, Republic senators, secret agents, smugglers, bounty hunters and many more as politics meets the machinations of the Force.

No specific knowledge of the Old Republic era is needed – although the political situation is a little different, the game will look and feel just like the Star Wars setting that everyone knows and loves! (and if you don’t know anything about Star Wars at all, then that is fine too!).

The game draws upon the Old Republic setting presented by Bioware in the video games: Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Absolutely no knowledge of these is needed to play!
