Larp: G.I. Joe: Noir

Description

by Suzanne Wayner, Jeannie Whited

G.I. Joe is the codename for American's daring, highly trained special mission force. Its purpose: to defend human freedom against Cobra - a ruthless, terrorist organization determined to rule the world.

In an otherwise quiet part of the desert, satellites show constant activity in an unnamed town with no apparent purpose. Could Cobra be plotting its latest, darkest plan? Do the dark alleys and seedy bars hide the next slithering menace? The Joes send a small undercover team to infiltrate the town and drag its secrets into the light.

This game is based on the 1980s TV cartoon in all its poorly animated and ridiculously plotted glory. Knowledge of the show will help you enjoy the game to its fullest, but is not required. Please note we have listed some characters that are male in the show as "neutral" to give more women a chance to play. Women may be asked to cross the gender line to play male characters without romantic entanglements. Players will be asked to play multiple characters, either as "horde" or for a short time while their primary character is "off screen."
