A town meeting is disrupted by the discovery of the young village miscreant Peter Rabbit being discovered dead in the community hall. Well-loved characters return in human form: Jeremy Fisher, local boating enthusiast; Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, the owner of the Laundromat and drycleaners; Jemima Puddle ("It's pronounced Poodle!"), everyone's agony aunt, and many more. The police are on their way. Can the villagers solve the murder themselves before those big-shot city police stick their noses where they’re not welcome?
