Larp: Divus Ex: Greece

Summary

You gaze down upon Greece from your home on Mt. Olympus. You alter the destinies of men, control the elements, crush empires on a whim. Mortals build altars and temples in your name, lie prostrate before you, and obey your every word. On Olympus itself, there's romance, drama. mistaken identity, war, betrayal, trickery, laughter, and vengeance - just another day for a Greek God. Think it's all nectar and ambrosia up here?

Think again.

You are but one of a multitude of gods-some good, some evil, others neutral and uncaring. Each has his own powers, his own sovereignty, and his own agenda. Use your powers, creativity and guile in a struggle to further your own schemes. Alter events in the mortal world and influence your fellow deities. In any case, avoid wreaking havoc with Blatant Acts or face the wrath of the Fates. But even their decree won't always stand firm. After all...

YOU ARE A GOD.

Divus Ex: Greece is an original Wild Gazebo Productions LARP. We'll be using a modified version of the rules system Divus Ex, created by Three Fates Gaming.

A word of caution for those of you who've never played one of our Divus games before: we run a very fast-and-loose game system, and a very character-driven game. There's little to no external plot. You make things happen - you're playing a god. Things rarely happen to gods, unless it's due to the actions of other gods (of which, quite frankly, there's plenty).

We're proud to have Divus Ex: Greece come to Intercon F for it's second run. The game made its debut at Intercon D, on the weekend of March 12-14, 2004.
