A great disaster has occurred. The stars were aligned and great Cthulhu arose from the deeps... only to be hit in the noggin by a cruise ship and return to his slumber. The boat of course sunk and almost all passengers were lost. Needless to say this is causing quite a ruckus and the Innsmouth Tourism Board isn't quite sure how they are going to spin this. The insurance company is contesting the claim and everyone just knows this is going to sink the budget too. Things are so severe that an emergency meeting is called and seeing as how everyone loathes to attend them, this of course just spells out how serious things are.
