Hi! So, I've not really touched this website for years. It's fallen into disrepair and it would be irresponsible of me to pretend I'll ever have time to work on it again.

So, I'm going to mothball the site/set it to read-only. I've disabled the login links because they stopped working any I don't remember enough about how the site works to figure out how to fix them.

If any thing *really* needs updating (deadnaming-level stuff), let me know and I'll go in on the backend and make changes.

Larp: Game which needs a new title set in a Galaxy Far Far Away

Description

by Jenni Wildman

ST*R W*RS (sci-fi, futuristic), set in the time of the Old Republic.

The lead senator for Alderaan in the Galactic Senate has been killed in a suspicious shuttle crash, leaving Alderaan leaderless in a time of desperate strife for the planet.

Therefore, the Organas (staunch allies of the Republic) have called an extraordinary gathering for the main Houses in order to democratically choose the next senator.

However, Alderann is a planet divided. Between those that pledge their allegiance to the Empire and those who have yet to declare their loyalty for any side, it is a chance for many of the smaller houses to seize influence and power from the great Houses.

This meeting has also attracted the attentions of more unscrupulous eyes, who see an opportunity for furthering their own aims to the ruin of everything else, who would like nothing more than to see Alderaan burn.

3,000 years before the events of the movies, (those movies, run by Litigious Corp) the galaxy was a slightly different place. Many planets are part of the crumbling Galactic Republic, whilst others have allied themselves (or been conquered) by the aggressively ambitious Sith Empire. The Great Galactic War finally came to an end when by sacking the Republic capital world of Coruscant, the Empire coerced the Republic into signing a peace treaty. Since then, a state of cold war has been ongoing. Force-users are much more common during this time. The powerful Jedi Order works alongside the Galactic Republic to ensure stability and to fight back against their arch-rivals – the Sith, powered by the Dark Side of the Force, and rulers of their Empire.

In this game, open war seems to be on the horizon, but does the Force have something more important in mind? Players can be Jedi Knights, Sith Lords, Imperial officers, Republic senators, secret agents, smugglers, bounty hunters and many more as politics meets the machinations of the Force.

No specific knowledge of the Old Republic era is needed – although the political situation is a little different, the game will look and feel just like the St*r W*rs setting that everyone knows and loves! (and if you don’t know anything about St*r W*rs at all, then that is fine too!).

The game draws upon the Old Republic setting presented by Bioware in the video games: Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2, and St*r W*rs: The Old Republic. Absolutely no knowledge of these is needed to play!
