- Description
1972—The USA and USSR are deep into a cold war. Nixon is fresh off visits to Moscow and China: the first US president to visit communist China. The world pauses on June 6th as Ziggy Stardust, international rock star, releases his new album. The release party is at the infamous Globe discotech in West Berlin, an exclusive club near The Berlin Wall where many of Europe's elite play. Only the most influential people get access to the Globe tonight.
