Hi! So, I've not really touched this website for years. It's fallen into disrepair and it would be irresponsible of me to pretend I'll ever have time to work on it again.

So, I'm going to mothball the site/set it to read-only. I've disabled the login links because they stopped working any I don't remember enough about how the site works to figure out how to fix them.

If any thing *really* needs updating (deadnaming-level stuff), let me know and I'll go in on the backend and make changes.

Description

What makes an individual? What makes a community? What gives a life meaning?

In the latter half of the 21st century, three families face a new frontier. The planet Jefferson, a habitable world 21 light years from Earth is now open for settlement. The Deveneaux, Jones, and O'Malley families have set out on a generation ship in order to secure that future for themselves, as their ancestors did in Spring River, Missouri.

The children of these families will spend most of their lives aboard a small starship. Along the way, they must answer questions about love, duty, family, and purpose.

Spring River is a LARP about identity. Players will embody aspects of the personalities of members of the three families. How these aspects play out within each individual will determine the course of their lives, the lives of the three families, and the future of their community. The aspects of a single individual will be physically connected to each other by a string. Each aspect will interact both with the other aspects of their individual and with the other individuals, via their aspects. The game will span a full generation as individuals grow and change as determined by their aspects.

Content warnings: death of loved one, forced physical proximity to a small group of other players (no touching required), the existential void. 16+
