Hi! So, I've not really touched this website for years. It's fallen into disrepair and it would be irresponsible of me to pretend I'll ever have time to work on it again.

So, I'm going to mothball the site/set it to read-only. I've disabled the login links because they stopped working any I don't remember enough about how the site works to figure out how to fix them.

If any thing *really* needs updating (deadnaming-level stuff), let me know and I'll go in on the backend and make changes.

Description

Rome, 1500. The election of a new pope. Over the past decades the Vatican sunk deeper and deeper into the clutches of corrupt families and manipulative kings. The throne of St. Peter is now a prize scrabbled over by Europe's pack of political wolves. And YOU can be one of them!

(HISTORICAL NOTE: There was no papal election in 1500, but this one is closely based on the real papal elections of 1492 and 1503, changing some details to combine the most corrupt and schemy elements of both.)
