Runs
Do you know of a run not listed?
Hi! So, I've not really touched this website for years. It's fallen into disrepair and it would be irresponsible of me to pretend I'll ever have time to work on it again.
So, I'm going to mothball the site/set it to read-only. I've disabled the login links because they stopped working any I don't remember enough about how the site works to figure out how to fix them.
If any thing *really* needs updating (deadnaming-level stuff), let me know and I'll go in on the backend and make changes.
Larp: Lullaby of Broadway III: Into the Wood
LOB III
- Summary
Have you ever wanted to play a part in your favourite fairy tale or musical? Do you like playing make-believe and dressing up in costumes?
Originally written by Mike Young and newly adapted, this classic weekend-long, fully-plotted LARP is returning "to the stage" (or rather, to a hotel near you) for a three-day adventure!
You might play Captain Hook or Little Red Riding Hood, Don Quixote tilting at giants (windmills, mostly), Guinevere dazed by an unexpected love triangle, a lost princess seeking her prince, a storyteller, a Charming Prince, the Court Jester, or a student of magic. Travelling in the woods can take you to a dark, mysterious place that connects fairy tale kingdoms from Camelot to the Holy Roman Empire. But things can happen in the woods....
Maybe your character is under a curse and wants help getting it lifted, or perhaps you just want to find the Wizard and go home. Ever wanted to be extra-ordinary, or defy gravity? Now's your chance!
(Also, there is singing!! Lots of singing for those who wish to indulge their musical theatre fantasies and both perform on-stage as well as break "spontaneously" into song. But, you absolutely do not have to sing, this LARP holds up just as well without any of that. This writer/GM played with laryngitis and still had an absolute top LARP experience.)
(And.. what if fairy tales and musicals aren’t your thing? Never fear! At the end of the day, that is still where the majority of the source material originates, but you can play a King out to conquer, a Knight seeking adventure, a Villain seeking revenge and mischief, or many other roles. As a bonus - if you aren’t familiar with the tales - there will be fewer spoilers and more surprises in store for you.)
