Do you know of a run not listed?
Hi! So, I've not really touched this website for years. It's fallen into disrepair and it would be irresponsible of me to pretend I'll ever have time to work on it again.
So, I'm going to mothball the site/set it to read-only. I've disabled the login links because they stopped working any I don't remember enough about how the site works to figure out how to fix them.
If any thing *really* needs updating (deadnaming-level stuff), let me know and I'll go in on the backend and make changes.
Larp: The Last Will and Testament of Edmund Valmont
- Summary
I, Lord Edmund Valmont, of New York State, being of sound mind and body, do hereby declare this to be my last will and testament. I hereby revoke all previous wills, and declare this to be my only will and testament of record.
Remember to be good to each other, and try to at least pretend you miss me. Not that any of you will.
To my youngest sibling, nothing at all. You never particularly seemed to want my help when I was alive, so I’m not sure why that would change now.
To my eldest child…
It is the height of prohibition, and the extended family of Lord Edmund Valmont has gathered for the reading of his will, eager to get their grubby paws all over their inheritances, and equally eager for an opportunity to spite their detested relatives. Unfortunately, a clause in the will states that, in the event any foul play is suspected in Lord Valmont’s death, no one will inherit anything… unless the family can solve the murder. But of course, they’re also all the prime suspects.
Come join the Valmont family for a terrible family reunion and an extremely silly murder mystery!
The larp is a comedic murder mystery, in the vein of Clue (the film) and Knives Out (also the film, though I promise I wrote this larp before the film came out!). Almost everyone will be playing as terrible people, trying to get one over on other terrible people. No actual historical knowledge or costumes are required.
