Runs
Do you know of a run not listed?
Hi! So, I've not really touched this website for years. It's fallen into disrepair and it would be irresponsible of me to pretend I'll ever have time to work on it again.
So, I'm going to mothball the site/set it to read-only. I've disabled the login links because they stopped working any I don't remember enough about how the site works to figure out how to fix them.
If any thing *really* needs updating (deadnaming-level stuff), let me know and I'll go in on the backend and make changes.
Larp: Time Crash Resurrection at Hawaii University
- Summary
By Gaylord Tang, Lisa Padol, Joshua Kronengold
- Description
An experiment in a temporal research lab in Hawaii goes wrong, sending a group of researchers and meddlers into the minds of their alternate selves in a search for fulfilment, self-actualization, and ultimately, meaning. A game written for MOLW 2022. Shamelessly inspired by Everything Everywhere, All At Once, Time Crash Resurection at Hawaii University is a scene-based, genre-jumping surealist litform larp, in which players will play a sequence of different versions of the same character in a variety of genres and situations, as their “base” characters’ conciousnesses extend into other possible (howevere implausible) alternative selves. Each scenario has its own rules, its own problems and conflicts – but ultimately, the characters will be asked to resolve questions of what they truly care about–and what they would change, if only they could. Character sheets with pre-written histories and goals will be provided before the game for “home” characters, and in each alternate world, shorter sheets will be provided for the characters (usually versions of the same person) in the new world which players will be expected to read, and put into practice after a short break.
