Runs
Do you know of a run not listed?
Hi! So, I've not really touched this website for years. It's fallen into disrepair and it would be irresponsible of me to pretend I'll ever have time to work on it again.
So, I'm going to mothball the site/set it to read-only. I've disabled the login links because they stopped working any I don't remember enough about how the site works to figure out how to fix them.
If any thing *really* needs updating (deadnaming-level stuff), let me know and I'll go in on the backend and make changes.
Larp: Deadly Dice Battles
- Summary
By Abe Pressman & Maher Tahhan
- Description
The weak have lost. The wise have fled. The champions remain. The world has a new religion, with its own deities: the live-streamers. Today’s internet celebrities have a hundred times as many followers as most historical pantheons, and the heroes of this new religion do battle in their own arena: online gaming.
Unicorn Games, infamous inventor of such now-banned titles as “Dueling Death Cards,” “Kaiju Collector,” and “Monetized Apocalypse,” has done it again: this summer’s hottest new trend is Deadly Dice Battles. Part collectible card game, part digital board game, part phone app, it’s taking the world by force, and has become a truly global phenomenon.
The Universe Cup will be history’s most expensive tournament, live-streamed across the whole world at once, with almost $300 million in prizes. In what is predicted to be the most-watched event of the year, new heroes and gods will be created… or defeated. These days, gaming isn’t just about having fun: it’s a battle for the hearts and minds, the praise and worship, of a whole generation.
And oh, do you have plans.
