Hi! So, I've not really touched this website for years. It's fallen into disrepair and it would be irresponsible of me to pretend I'll ever have time to work on it again.

So, I'm going to mothball the site/set it to read-only. I've disabled the login links because they stopped working any I don't remember enough about how the site works to figure out how to fix them.

If any thing *really* needs updating (deadnaming-level stuff), let me know and I'll go in on the backend and make changes.

Larp: Ships in the Night

Summary

One year ago, your planetary federations declared an unexpected war. You and your colleagues have watched the war from your comm stations, passing orders to the troops and dispatches back to command. Now, in the wake of a disaster, you’re seeing the tragedies through messages: ships on fire, half a planet gone. The war is on a pause, and now you find yourself working with the other side, sorting evacuations and rescues, making sense of the incoming flood. And, wait, you don’t recognize that incoming code… In Ships in the Night, players take on the role of comms officers in a hyperspace relay: members of opposing federations, forced together by circumstances bigger than either side. It is a game about dealing with the emotions of answering distress signals during a tragedy. Players will be making decisions about what to do with incoming transmissions: Will you answer that message? Share it with your colleagues, or with the other side? Or will you keep it to yourself? This game runs over Discord and uses both its text and video/audio functions.
