Runs
Do you know of a run not listed?
Hi! So, I've not really touched this website for years. It's fallen into disrepair and it would be irresponsible of me to pretend I'll ever have time to work on it again.
So, I'm going to mothball the site/set it to read-only. I've disabled the login links because they stopped working any I don't remember enough about how the site works to figure out how to fix them.
If any thing *really* needs updating (deadnaming-level stuff), let me know and I'll go in on the backend and make changes.
Larp: It Was Space But They Heard Her Scream
- Summary
It is the first World Science Fiction Convention to be held in space. Programming problems, computer mishaps and a murder make it an event destined to live in fannish lore forever.
- Description
It is 2070 and man has finally colonized both the Moon and Mars. The Freedom II Space Station floats gently over Earth and is a favorite vacation destination for the adventurous traveler.
This year also marks a great achievement for geeks everywhere, the World Science Fiction convention will be held in space for the first time ever. It was quite a coup for Didi Kildare and her team to have won the right to hold the convention on Freedom II.
Then everything went horribly wrong. Didi's promotions of "Time Travelers get in free" and "Elves in Space" made her a laughing stock. All of the convention logistics were completely messed up: wrong schedules, rooms moved at the last minute, Harlan Puff's abysmal LARP about the dead god king and popsicle sticks, and worst of all there is never anything but caffiene-free diet soda in the con suite.
All wasn't lost, afterall the con was in space right? There was also the First Fannish EVA where those who were lucky enough to get tickets were able to go on a space walk around the station. That would save everythimg. Then came the screams. During the space walk someone murdered the station's commander Talia Pierson while everyone was watching H.M. Swinger slowly drifting off into space after becoming unteathered. What else could possibly go wrong.
Come join us at the first science fiction convention in space and find out how bad fans in space can really be.
